Q. When can I schedule and confirm my rehearsal for my ceremony and how much time is provided?

A. Rehearsal will be scheduled and confirmed two weeks prior to your wedding ceremony. Rehearsal time may be scheduled at anytime the day prior to your wedding, unless there is an event scheduled. We will not set or confirm your rehearsal time before the two week point, because of a possible upcoming unscheduled event. If an event is scheduled on that day, rehearsal must be scheduled before 2:00 pm, or the day of your wedding ceremony at 1:00 pm. One hour will be provided for your rehearsal. Your wedding coordinator will assist your officiate and bridal party in planning and executing your ceremony.

Q. How does the bar service work at Greystone Mansion and Visions at CenterPointe?

A. Greystone Mansion and Visions at CenterPointe does not have a liquor license.  This allows you to host; beer, wine and liquor to your guests.  All alcoholic beverages provided at your wedding reception must be provided by the hosting party.  Guest will not be allowed to provide their own alcoholic beverages.  Certified and insured bartenders will be provide by Visions and Greystone. 

Q. May I charge my guests for alcoholic beverages from the bar?

A. No, under no circumstances.  The State of Michigan requires a liquor license in order to charge for sale of alcohol in the State of Michigan.

Q. Since I’m providing the alcohol for my wedding reception, is it OK for my guests under 21 to consume alcohol?

A. No, the State of Michigan strictly forbids the consumption of alcohol for anyone under the age of 21.

Q. What will I need to provide for my bar?

A. Greystone/Visions provide bartender(s), soft drinks, cocktail mixers, ice and clear plastic beverage service. We do offer a glassware service package at an additional $2.00 per-guest. This provides a cocktail, wine and beer glass. Soft drinks will still be served in clear plastic. All garnishes (lemons, limes, etc), stir sticks, cocktail napkins, etc. must be provided by the hosting party. We recommended the use of the two beverage service providers below to order and deliver your bar supplies.
